KINZEL SHOP FLOOR

Less time finding the setup.
More time making the part.

Keep job drawings, machine details, tool assemblies, and run notes in a private workspace. Start with one job and record what the next run will need.

Jobs, drawings, and files

Give the part a record that stays useful after the run is finished.

  • Part number, drawing revision, material, quantity, due date, and machine.
  • Drawings, setup photos, CAD files, and NC files attached to the job.
  • PDF and image viewing in the portal; CAD and NC files available to download.
  • Job stages for draft, setup-ready, in-progress, and completed work.

Machines and manuals

Keep machine information close to the work that uses it.

  • Enter a machine manually or review identity fields read from a nameplate photo.
  • Record the controller, serial number, location, and spindle limit.
  • Upload manuals and label photos of control settings for reference.

Tool assemblies

Record the assembly you actually put in the machine.

  • Search the imported manufacturer catalog or enter a cutter manually.
  • Review source dimensions and record the holder, measured stickout, and storage location.
  • Link assemblies to the jobs where they are used.

Setup and run notes

Keep the instructions and the lessons from the run in the same record.

  • Workholding, part orientation, work offset, program reference, and instructions.
  • Setup review to check that required information has been recorded.
  • Notes on adjustments, tool changes, and inspection observations.

Feeds and speeds

Convert the toolmaker’s cutting data into spindle RPM and feed rate, in inch or metric units. Apply a recorded spindle limit and save the cutting recipe with the job.
